Four legged friend

The sturdy stand-off

One bright morning, Badger and Coyote were walking through a forest when they stumbled upon an old, rusted key lying in the middle of the path.

Curiosity piqued, they followed a trail that led to an ancient cabin deep in the woods. As they approached the cabin, the door creaked open, and an old voice echoed from inside.

"If you wish to enter and discover the secrets within, you must solve this riddle."

The riddle read:

“I have a sturdy frame and never move,
Though my legs are four, they do not groove.
I bear great weight with silent ease,
In homes and halls, I aim to please.
You use me daily without a care,
I stand my ground but never a stair.
What am I?"
