One evening, Badger and Yote were making their way back to the homestead from spending time in the mountains when they came across a rickety old bridge spanning a deep ravine.

The sun was setting, and they had only 17 minutes of daylight left.

Crossing the bridge in the dark would be too dangerous, but they only had one lantern to share between them.

Here’s the catch: Badger can cross the bridge in 1 minute. Yote takes 2 minutes to cross. Their friend Otter, who’s with them, takes 5 minutes to cross. Otter's cousin Turtle, who’s also with them, takes 10 minutes to cross.

They can only cross two at a time, and anyone crossing the bridge must carry the lantern.
