Dark room

You are in a dark room with three light switches on the wall.

Each switch controls one of three light bulbs in the next room, but you can’t see the bulbs from where you are.

You may flip the switches however you’d like, but you are only allowed to enter the next room once to check the bulbs.

How do you determine which switch controls each light bulb?
